The festival will feature shows, performances and takeovers from the likes of Ghetto Fabulous, the Cocoa Butter Club and Bongo's Bingo
Pride in Trafford will return to Greater Manchester for four days of festivities celebrating queer arts and creativity.
Being held in and around the Waterside arts venue in Sale, the event will once again coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia on May 15. The festival will launch with a Pride flag raising event by the Chief Executive of Trafford Council.Amongst the festival highlights will be the return of the Laugh Riot Comedy Night , featuring a line-up including comedians Stephen Bailey, Kate McCabe and Jonathan Mayor, with Katie Mulgrew serving as MC.
Making Waves: A Celebration of New Queer Work will feature four new shows created in partnership with Greater Manchester LGBTQ+ Arts & Culture Network and delivered by LGBT Foundation. Curious Arts will once again host Mini Pride at Sale Library, featuring fun activities, crafts and story times, whilst there will also be a free creative Pride evening for young people in Trafford, created by Gorse Hill Studios and Rainbow Reflections, on May 15.
