Primark is set to open its first standalone Home store in Belfast, located in the iconic Fountain House building on Donegall Place. This marks a significant milestone for the brand as it expands its homeware and lifestyle offerings. The store is expected to open in March and will offer an even greater selection of home products.
Primark is gearing up to launch its inaugural standalone Home store in Belfast within the next few months. Situated in the iconic Fountain House building on Donegall Place, the Home store will occupy approximately 8,700 sq ft across a single floor. This marks a significant milestone for Primark as the brand continues to broaden its homeware and lifestyle offerings.
Belfast Live had previously reported on the opening of the Home store earlier this month, and Primark has now confirmed that customers can anticipate shopping within its walls by March. A spokesperson for Primark stated, 'Now more than ever, people are investing increasing pride in their homes, and Primark's homeware collection provides interior enthusiasts with endless choices and quality at affordable prices, seamlessly blending style, comfort, and value.' 'Since expanding its home range across many of its stores globally in 2021, encompassing high-quality essentials like cotton bedding and towels to trend-led soft furnishings, decorative pieces, or funky kitchen ceramics, this marks the first standalone destination dedicated to homeware.'The Primark Home store at Fountain House will present an even more extensive selection of home products, meticulously designed to assist customers in creating spaces that bring them as much joy as their wardrobes. Fintan Costello, Head of Primark Northern Ireland and Ireland, shared, 'This is a truly momentous occasion for Primark as we open our first standalone Primark Home store.' 'Belfast felt like the ideal location to bring this concept to life, and Fountain House offers a remarkable setting in the heart of the city center to showcase our expanded homeware range. Our Home collection has consistently proven to be a resounding success among our Belfast customers, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming them into our very first Primark Home store.' The new store will be Primark's 10th in Northern Ireland and signifies a new chapter for the Fountain House building, which previously served as a temporary location for Primark from 2019 to 2022 while the Bank Buildings store underwent restoration. With the opening of Fountain House, Primark's homeware offering will relocate from the Bank Buildings, allowing the retailer to amplify its kidswear and menswear collections in that space.
