Prince and Princess of Wales to be at Buckingham Palace to receive Queen’s coffin
The Queen’s coffin will continue lying in state in Edinburgh until 5pm today, Tuesday 13 September, when it will be flown to London ahead of her funeral next week.
King Charles III will be joined by his Queen Consort to receive his mother’s coffin at Buckingham Palace, where she spent so many of her decades as sovereign.The Prince and Princess of Wales will also be at the Palace as the coffin arrives ahead of the funeral on 19 September. In London, members of the public will be able to file past the coffin at Westminster Hall from 5pm on Wednesday 14 September until 6.30am on Monday 19 September.
Flowers, tributes, candles, flags, photos, hampers, sleeping bags, blankets, folding chairs and camping equipment are also all banned.
