Such is the mystery around his wealth and income streams, there remain questions over whether Andrew can afford to foot the bill himself, and how he is managing to stay out of the red.How Andrew made money as a royal, Andrew was believed to have received around £250,000 a year to fund his office at Buckingham Palace, as well as a Navy pension worth around £20,000 a year.
Launched back in 2014, Pitch@Palace was aimed at providing a platform for entrepreneurs to pitch to investors. The High Court heard how the Duke of York, along with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and their daughter Princess Eugenie, received a total of around £1.4m from Turkish businessman and former banker Selman Turk.
In the wake of the out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre, the Prince and the Duchess of York helped boost their bank balances by selling their Swiss chalet for around £19m at the end of 2022, according toBut the Duchess apparently had enough to buy a luxury property in Mayfair for £4.25m in 2022.
