Prince Andrew will be gifted the late Queen's corgis following her death
who claimed he sexually assaulted her when she was 17 after being trafficked by paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.Since an unflattering 2019 Newsnight interview where he failed to show remorse for his friendship with Epstein, Andrew has had an increasingly diminished role in the monarchy, with the Queen dropping his honorary military titles and banning him from using his HRH style.
It was the first time the members of the Royal Family had been seen together in public since the Queen’s death on Thursday. Asked by a mourner how things were, Andrew said: “We’ve been allowed one day, now we start the process of handing her on.”The Queen’s love of corgis was celebrated during Platinum Jubilee events, with a gathering of 70 corgis at Balmoral and a “corgi derby” at Musselburgh racecourse.
