Royal fans were left cooing over the latest pictures of Prince George, who joined his father Prince William, his grandad Prince Charles and his great grandmother the Queen for a spot of baking.
The portraits, which show the family all mucking in as they attempt the traditional dessert, represent the four generations that are supported buy the Legion – and they couldn’t be cuter. Once the blend was perfect, each royal placed commemorative sixpences into the mixture. A new Royal British Legion recipe was created for the launch, with the Royal Family adding poppy seeds to the mixture – a nod to the charity's iconic symbol of Remembrance.
The Queen wore a light blue Angela Kelly dress with a sapphire and diamond brooch, while Prince George wore a pique piped shirt by British designer Rachel Riley.
