Prince George made history at the Coronation after reportedly persuading his grandfather King Charles to break with centuries-old tradition over a uniform rule.
Prince George , at the tender age of nine, managed to convince his grandfather, King Charles, to break with a centuries-old tradition during the Coronation.
The young prince was joined by his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, playing a pivotal role in the historic event. He was seen walking behind his grandfather, assisting with his robes as he entered and exited Westminster Abbey. The lads, who are family friends and relatives of Charles and Camilla, took on the roles traditionally reserved for boys aged 12 to 15. However, young George was assigned the task after expressing a "deep interest" in the ceremony.
"Even though he is only nine, George is very mature and already has a deep understanding of the roles of his grandfather and father, as well as his future role. This assignment is a marvellous indication of the future being mapped out by the King."
