Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'damaging the institution of the monarch' has diminished public interest, as King Charles' former staff share behind-the-scenes chatter ahead of the coronation.
Recent data showed only 361 street party applications were submitted for the coronation on May 6, down dramatically from more than 16,000 applications for the late Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee.Charles' former butler Grant Harrold appeared on Piers Morgan’s Uncensored to unveil the chatter he has heard about the coronation.
“I know they’re saying popularity polls and everything, but from the people I speak to, the people I know a lot of people like him, admire him, respect him.” Figures such as United States President Joe Biden declined the invite to the coronation, while a string of A-list celebrities including Adele and Elton John rejected offers to perform at the ceremony’s concert the following day.
“Damaging the institution of the monarchy, damaging the royal family and then they have the brass neck, he turns up at the coronation.”
