Prince Harry and the publisher of The Sun are nearing an out-of-court settlement in a lawsuit alleging unlawful information-gathering. The Duke of Sussex and former Labour deputy leader Lord Tom Watson are suing News Group Newspapers (NGN) over the alleged practices. While the newspaper group denies any involvement in wrongdoing, both parties have requested an adjournment until Wednesday to continue negotiations.
Prince Harry and The Sun 's publisher are said to be "very close" to agreeing a settlement, as negotiations continue, the High Court has been told. The case sees the Duke of Sussex and former Labour deputy leader, Lord Tom Watson, suing News Group Newspapers over allegations of unlawful information-gathering.The trial had been due to start at the High Court in London at 10.
