Prince Harry has reportedly said his "final goodbye" to royal life in the UK after enduring the "last straw" with his family, according to a royal expert. It was revealed that the Duke of Sussex had switched his main residence from the UK to the US in March 2023 - the same day Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex handed back the keys to their former home, Frogmore Cottage.
Tom added: "But even if Harry begged to be allowed back to help out - even if his father King Charles became so ill he was unable to carry out his duties - whatever happens, the call to help will never go out to Montecito. Making the US his primary residence is Harry's final goodbye." According to The Times, Harry and Meghan wanted to live within the Castle itself and reported asked if "living quarters could be made available after their marriage". At the time, only the Queen and Prince Philip had private apartments within the actual castle, with everyone else living elsewhere on the estate.
