King Charles and Prince Harry at Windsor Castle on 19 September, 2022, following the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II He had reportedly tried to organise a visit with his father, 75, who announced he had been diagnosed with cancer early this year.
The last time Prince Harry saw his father was in February, when he dashed across the Atlantic after the Palace publicly announced the King’s diagnosis. The meeting reportedly lasted less than an hour. Prince Harry’s first engagement in London this week was at Honourable Artillery Company’s headquarters where a one-day summit, called the Invictus Games Foundation Conversation, was held.
