Inside Prince William and Kate Middleton's stunning garden at Adelaide Cottage home
Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis enrolled into Lambrook School near Ascot in Berkshire after the family settled into Adelaide Cottage in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
In 1941, it became a ‘grace-and-favour home’ - a term used to describe houses owned by the king or queen that can be loaned out to royal family members or staff rent-free. In 1945, the couple were expecting their second child together and the King offered them the home to stay in. His backdrop was a gorgeous large dark-wooden unit which contained plenty of ornaments and sentimental china.
