Prince William is urging wife Kate Middleton to 'put herself first' as she returns to royal duties following her cancer treatment, according to a source. The Princess of Wales has slowly been returning to royal duties after completing her cancer treatment in September. She was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, and stepped away from public royal duties to recover.
The source claimed William has given strict instructions to the royal family asides not to overload Kate with work, adding: 'He's urging Kate to stay focused on her steady recovery rather than putting too much on her plate. He just wants to be sure she feels supported without unnecessary pressure.' This comes after Prince Williams visit to Cape Town earlier this month where he admitted it had been a “brutal” year for his family.
