Prince William insists New Zealand terrorist failed to sow hatred
Prince Williams paid a visit to New Zealand this week and embraced crowds at the site of the Christchurch massacreThe Prince showed his respects to those who died in the horrific massacres by laying a wreath at a memorial site
"I have known of New Zealanders from the earliest moments of my life, that you are people who look out to the world with optimism. Wills said Down Under: “We must unite to reform the social technology that allowed hateful propaganda to inspire the murder of innocents.”Farid Ahmad, who was injured during the attack on the Al Noor mosque and whose wife Husna Ahmad was killed, welcomed the Duke with a moving speech.
Speaking at the Justice and Emergency Services Precinct, he thanked them for doing "an incredible job on a very bad day".It's not the first time Prince William has visited the country, having flown to New Zealand soon after the devastating February 2011 quake.
