Prince William donned an apron and served at The Passage charity, marking a heartwarming tradition during the holiday season. The charity holds a special place in his heart, as he first visited with his mother, Princess Diana, in 1993.

These visits are becoming something of a holiday ritual for the future king. Prince William , 42, returned to The Passage in London, where he first visited with his mother, Princess Diana , when he was 11. He donned an apron and spent more than an hour serving up vegetables and chatting with people being helped by the charity during the annual Christmas meal.

The visit, which was not announced in advance and had no media present, was described by Leo Scanlon, a client of The Passage, as heartwarming and one that he wanted to thank William for from the bottom of his heart. Pictures obtained by the Mail showed the Prince carefully piling roast vegetables onto plates during his hour-long service. William became a patron of The Passage in February 2019, after first visiting the charity in 1993 with Princess Diana
