The Prince of Wales explained how his two sons have a very different taste in music to British boyband One Republic who opened the royal's Earthshot Prize Awards in Singapore last night.
Prince William has revealed his son Prince Louis' favourite pop band during an awards ceremony yesterday evening.
He said: “I can’t thank you enough. You were amazing. What a way to start the show. That was incredible.” William told the band that their closing performance of the night had profoundly moved the people around him in the audience as they sang about the disaster that befell the Roman city when Mount Vesuvius erupted in 79AD.
"And everyone in front of me was crying. I mean I didn’t see behind me but there were tears everywhere.South African actress Nomzano Mbatha, who presented one of the awards, told William she was left in tears by the "incredible" performance. He congratulated the winners, who were awarded trophies made from recycled materials, including brass sourced from water pipe fittings, household waste and minute metal elements filtered from wastewater sludge.
