While it was never confirmed that William would be joining his brother at St. Paul's Cathedral, William was booked and busy with a two-day trip to Cornwall, which included a stop at Fistral Beach.
William made a stop on the shore to meet with local representatives and organizations that work to promote beach safety. Ahead of the summer, when families flock to the beach, the groups, including Holywell Bay and Newquay Surf Life Saving Clubs, work with the public to bring awareness to drowning and train volunteers to save lives and prevent dangerous situations involving the sand and surf.
