Doting dad Prince William has gushed over his daughter Charlotte’s goalie skills as he received gifts for his children from England’s women’s football team
Prince William had branded his seven year old daughter Charlotte as a “budding star” as he met with England’s women’s football team on Wednesday 15 June.
The Duke of Cambridge cut a reasonably casual figure for the affair, arriving in a suit and blazer jacket with an open-collared blue shirt – different from his usual buttoned up shirt and tie. Prince George is thought to be quite the football fan, and was said to have “begged” his dad to take him to the England World Cup game last summer.
He went on: “Kate and William are at pains to never expose the children unnecessarily to the cameras but he twisted their arm eventually.
