EXCLUSIVE: A royal expert said it is 'understood' that Prince William 'has been vocal about not allowing Prince Andrew to resume any public role' despite joining family at Balmoral
The Royal Family are "fully aware" there's "no appetite" to see Prince Andrew return to public duties, despite joining them at Balmoral.
While it looked like a united front, royal expert Jennie Bond said the family are not "deaf to public opinion" after Andrew stepped down from public roles following his association with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Asking how William may be feeling about his attendance, she said: "It’s understood that William has been vocal about not allowing Andrew to resume any public role, but he has to accept that Andrew is his uncle, his father’s brother and that neither the late Queen nor King Charles wants to humiliate him further by ostracising him from family occasions.
