Both Princess Charlotte and Harper Beckham posted sweet tributes to the Lionesses ahead of the Women’s Euros 2022 final.
It seems like all of the UK is watching England face off with Germany in thefinal, with a certain young royal cheering the Lionesses on from home. Before heading to Wembley Stadium to enjoy the match in person, the Duke of Cambridge posted a video with Princess Charlotte wishing the team good luck on the pitch. “We both want to wish the Lionesses the best of luck for tonight,” William began. “You’ve done amazingly well in the competition, and we’re rooting for you all the way.
“Charlotte wanted me to tell you that she’s really good in goal,” the Duke joked while watching the Lionesses practice in St George’s Park earlier this summer. “She said, ‘Please tell them that.’ Budding star for the future!”As for sporting royalty? Harry Kane, Bukayo Saka and Jack Grealish have all posted tributes to Sarina Wiegman’s team, with David Beckham also getting in touch with the Lionesses ahead of their remarkable semi-final performance against Sweden.
