Princess Charlotte 'will be expected to get a job' as Charles plans to slim down monarchy
Princess Charlotte may be expected to get a job when she's older instead of being a full-time Royal, due to King Charles III's alleged plans for a 'slimmed-down' monarchy.
Writing in his Palace Confidential newsletter, Richard explained: "From what I hear, the Prince and Princess of Wales want Charlotte, aged seven, to grow up with the expectation that she will get a job and not be a full-time royal." Following the departure of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew as working royals and there being fewer living royal generations left following the Queen’s passing, the palace is thought to be considering how best the The Firm can continue to undertake the thousands of work events they attend around the globe each year.
