Celebrity hair stylist Nicky Clarke OBE, who's worked his magic on the tresses of Princess Diana, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, has revealed a top tip for keeping your locks luscious.
Enter Nicky Clarke, who's given his seal of approval to one golden TikTok trick that will keep your hair looking fabulous during the summer months. This is particularly important if you're planning to soak up some sun, as it can have a surprisingly big effect on your hair. Surprisingly, our hair is just as vulnerable to UV damage as our skin. And just like the rest of our body, our scalps can burn in the sun, increasing the risk of skin cancer. Sun rays can also weaken the protein structures in your hair, leaving each strand dull, dry and brittle. Nicky warned that greying locks are especially at risk due to their melanin content.
The hair guru's advice comes after a TikTok video took the internet by storm last year. In it, creator Daviana explained how protecting your hair from the sun is vital while showcasing various beauty salon products.
