Princess Diana's stylist, Sam McKnight, appeared on Jonathan Van Ness’ podcast 'Pretty Curious' to discuss styling the late Princess's iconic hair—and reveals he once chopped off all of her hair to get rid of a dated perm.
Throughout her time in the public eye, from 1981 when she became engaged to Charles, then the Prince of Wales, until her death in 1997,never strayed too far from her iconic look, in 1990, she was convinced to go for a rather dramatic trim by stylist Sam McKnight. McKnight, who has also styled the likes of Lady Gaga and Tilda Swinton, met Diana for the first time while working on a photoshoot for.
