In a new interview with the Daily Mail, royal expert Richard Kay revealed that Princess Diana would have been proud of Harry for breaking away from the royal family.

The main reason for Harry's departure was over the well-being of his wife, Meghan Markle, who previously opened up about having suicidal thoughts and allegedly being denied help from the Palace. Not wanting history to repeat itself, Harry and his young family packed up and moved to the U.S.
The rift between the two brothers, on the other hand, isn't something Diana would have stood for. "What I knew about Diana was, first and above all, was her love for her sons, that was clear to the whole world, she loved those boys," Kay said. "I think she would've been broken-hearted." He continued, "The big question is, would it have still happened had Diana still been with us?
