Princess Leonor of Spain begins a training cruise aboard the Juan Sebastian Elcano, visiting multiple countries in the Americas.
Princess Leonor , 19, boarded Juan Sebastian Elcano in Spain 's Cadiz today. The daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia appeared in high spirits as she walked along the port in the southwestern Spanish city before stepping onto the vessel. The 19-year-old royal is undertaking a training cruise, sailing through two oceans, and visiting 10 ports and eight countries in America, according to La Vanguardia.
She is following in the footsteps of her father, Felipe, and her grandfather, King Juan Carlos, who also carried out a similar trip. Leonor - who began three years of military training in 2023 - looked just the part in a black uniform. She styled her brunette tresses in a sleek low bun, allowing her sailing hat to sit comfortably, and added a pair of white gloves. The royal wore little makeup for the occasion, revealing her naturally glowing complexion. Once on board the ship, Leonor was photographed giving a salute to other members onboard. Two days before her adventure, Leonor attended the annual Pascua Militar military event at the Royal Palace in Madrid with her parents. Letizia put on a dazzling display in a beautiful burgundy frock and stylish black fur coat - while Felipe and Leonor sported full military regalia alongside. The mother-of-two appeared in good spirits as she walked alongside her teenage daughter, beaming with pride as prepared to mark the annual military event, which is a National Holiday in Spain. The Queen of Spain sported a full length red and burgundy gown and a pair of kitten heels in the same shade. Shielding from the cold blast, Letizia snuggled up in a stylish black fur coat, pulling the fashionable number up to her chin
