The Princess of Wales will make her most significant return to royal duties after her cancer treatment, joining a ceremonial welcome for the Qatar state visit. Queen Camilla, however, has scaled back her involvement due to ill health. Prince Charles will welcome Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wives, Sheikha Jawaher, to a ceremony in Whitehall. Kate, 42, will participate in the official welcome on Horse Guards Parade, a carriage procession back to Buckingham Palace , and a private lunch.
She will also view an exhibition of priceless Qatari artefacts from the Royal Collection, but will miss tonight’s state banquet
