To commemorate World Cancer Day, the Princess of Wales shared a touching message and a photo captured by her son, Prince Louis. The princess also revealed she is in remission from cancer. Kate Middleton, a known photography enthusiast, highlighted the importance of supporting those affected by cancer and mentioned Prince Louis's budding interest in photography.

To mark World Cancer Day , which occurs each year on 4 February, the Princess of Wales shared a message honouring the event with her followers on social media – and also shared an image captured by her six-year-old son, Prince Louis. In a frosty winter woodland setting, Kate can be seen extending her arms outward, while bundled up in a hat, coat and gloves. “Don’t forget to nurture all that which lies beyond the disease,” she wrote, signing off with a simple “C” for Catherine.

“As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal. I am however looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead,” she wrote. That same day, she paid a visit to the Royal Marsden Hospital in west London, where she received treatment following her cancer diagnosis in March 2024. In keeping with that upbeat outlook, Kate took the opportunity to hint that Prince Louis may have also caught the photography bug.
