EXCLUSIVE: A prison officer has suffered horrific burns after being 'napalmed' by an inmate
A PRISON officer was left traumatised with horrific burns after being “napalmed” with sugared boiling water by a lag.The prison officer may need plastic surgery for the burn injury under his right armHe had only been in the job for 12 months.
Andy Baxter, of the Prison Officers’ Association, said: "He's been through the full range of emotions and even believed at one stage this was just part of the job. "But, he now realises everybody - whatever their job - has the right to work in as safe environment as possible.The attack took place on one of the main units at the high security jail, which houses murderers and terrorists.
