Private hospitals across the Philippines are all geared up and on “high alert” for all the possible emergency hospital admissions in the upcoming holiday season, an expert said on Thursday, Dec. 22.
President of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines Dr. Jose Rene De Grano said private hospitals, just like government-run hospitals across the archipelago, are ready to aid patients that will be admitted during the holiday season.
De Grano explained that hospitals in the Philippines have various alert codes. According to the expert, some hospitals are already under “code white” in light of the upcoming holiday festivities. Meanwhile, in terms of manpower, De Grano said hospitals across the country have enough healthcare workers to assist and lend a helping hand to patients.
