Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and bandleader Jon Batiste will join the ProMusica Columbus Chamber Orchestra for a two-concert residency this May.
On May 2, the first concert will feature Batiste and his jazz trio alongside the orchestra. A day later on May 3, Batiste will premiere a brand-new original composition commissioned by ProMusica Columbus.“We are so honored to welcome back Jon Batiste to ProMusica and Columbus, and for the opportunity to create and collaborate on this unique and genre-bending original work and residency,” said ProMusica CEO Janet Chen in a press release.
Batiste's latest album"World Music Radio" features collaborations with Lana Del Rey, Lil Wayne, NewJeans and more.
