REA Group Senior Economist Eleanor Creagh explains why property prices could hit a new peak in January if the pace of price growth over the past quarter persists.

“We do have these ongoing tight supply conditions with respect to an ongoing softer flow on new listings coming to market,” Ms Creagh told Sky News Australia.

“That’s facing stronger housing demand which is likely buoyed by what are very tight rental markets.”
