Prosecutors in Philadelphia on Friday will share new information about the 2018 unsolved murder of a 17-year-old girl who was killed in a triple shooting.
DA Larry Krasner and members of the Homicide and Non-Fatal Shooting Unit will hold a 2:30 p.m. press conference on the killing of 17-year-old Sandrea Williams.Investigators said Williams was killed and two other teens were injured in a triple shooting on the 300 block of North Simpson Street in May 2018.
It's believed that two shooters emerged from an alleyway and fired over 20 shots towards the victims, fatally striking Williams in the neck and back. RELATED HEADLINESInvestigators previously reported that Williams was not the intended target, and that the shooting may have stemmed from a "petty neighborhood dispute."Philadelphia Police Department Captain Jack Ryan previously described the attack as being "like a terror attack.
