Huge protests outside the Iranian Embassy in London have led to a reported arrest.
BBC reporter Parham Ghobadi has shared footage, from this afternoon, which appears to show a man taken to the ground by an officer. Huge crowds of people, many holding flags, can be seen in the clip. A line of police officers can be seen creating a barrier between the embassy and the nearby street.There have been global protests triggered by the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in police custody in Iran.Women of Sari, Mazandaran, ripped off, waved and set alight their hijabs in defiance in dramatic protests on Wednesday.
According to a tally by The Associated Press, there have been at least 11 deaths from both sides since protests began after Ms Amini’s funeral.There have been widespread protests since the death of Mahsa Amini This is a breaking news story, more to follow.
