Freelance reporter and late editorProtesters have clashed with police outside a hotel in Merseyside this evening that is believed to house asylum seekersFootage shared on social media show large groups of people gathered near the Suites Hotel in Ribblers Lane Prescot and a police van on fire.
“During the evening, missiles have reportedly been thrown and damage caused to a police vehicle. No injuries have been reported at this time.There has bene a number of road closures in the area and police are urging motorists to avoid the area and protesters to disperse.
