'There is no need for a protest'
MPs in Greater Manchester have urged demonstrators not to take part in a protest at Manchester Airport in the wake of the viral arrest video.

She said: "Please do follow this advice from Greater Manchester Council of Mosques. "The origins of this protest are unclear, and we are concerned about potential negative repercussions which may provoke further hostility and Islamophobia." The statement added: "Let us not disrupt the travel plans of others."
The post reiterated that the family involved in the incident 'strongly request calm'. On Wednesday night, crowds gathered outside Rochdale police station in protest and videos from Thursday night showed a handful of demonstrators throwing eggs at the building.
