What is this teasing? A new PS5 advert has got tongues wagging for seemingly hinting at a new annoucement for PlayStation’s 30th birthday. The 30th anniversary of the PlayStation brand is coming up, so you’d think Sony would have something special planned for such a momentous landmark in its history, but so far it’s done relatively little to reference it.
We do know Sony is collaborating with Youtooz on a new range of collectible figures. Recently, Youtooz posted a teaser on X for figures of Kratos, Ratchet and Clank, Sly Cooper, and Astro Bot, so maybe a formal announcement and release date is being saved for the anniversary. Some have suggested there could even be a whole showcase, but that’s probably wishful thinking.
