Rather than use more modern tech for the PS5 Pro, as was claimed, Sony is apparently sticking with a similar CPU to the standard console.
However, they have since changed one detail regarding the console’s CPU, as they claim to have received new info that points to it using some of the same tech as the PlayStation 5.as the current model, when it is eventually released.
Instead of the Zen 4, the newer information suggests the PS5 Pro’s CPU is based around the Zen 2 chip – the same one as used in the standard PlayStation 5 console. However, clock frequencies will be higher.
