More details have been potentially revealed about the PS5 Pro, which is believed to be launching later this year.
The PS5 Pro probably won’t look as wild as this concept Sony has not confirmed whether the PS5 Pro actually exists yet, but it seems like an announcement could be imminent, following a wave of recent leaks. While rumours about an upgraded PlayStation 5 console began last year, a recent leak seemingly outed various specifications about the console – including significant boosts in ray-tracing speed, a GPU with 33.5 teraflops, and the inclusion of Sony’s new upscaling technology.
If a lack of first party games is deemed an issue though it’s not clear when that could be rectified, as Sony has already stated none are expected in the next 12 months and so there may be nothing till Marvel’s Wolverine in autumn 2025.
