MANILA, Philippines — More than 70 million Philippine Identification System IDs and ePhilIDs have been issued to registered Filipinos as of June 16, theAccording to PSA, 70,271,330 Filipinos have been issued with PhilIDs and ePhilIDs under the Philippine Identification System implementation.Of the total number of IDs issued, 33,422,502 PhilSys cards have already been delivered and 36,848,828 ePhilIDs can be already be downloaded and printed.
“The PSA shall continue its efforts in expediting the issuance of the PhilID and ePhilID. We encourage our kababayans [fellow Filipinos] who have received their PhilID and ePhilID to maximize its use in their transactions”, PSA Undersecretary Claire Dennis Mapa said in a statement.
