The incident is now being investigated by Belfast Harbour Police

Police have said they responded to reports of a "suspicious male" in an underground car park in Belfast.

On Saturday afternoon, November 30, residents at Arc Apartments in the Titanic Quarter were unable to access their homes for a period of time due to a police presence in the area. The incident was then confined to the building's underground car park. In a statement issued to Belfast Live, a spokesperson for the PSNI said they "responded to reports of a suspicious male in the underground car park."They added: "The area was thoroughly searched however CCTV subsequently confirmed the male had left.

"A man matching the description was later located by police on Great Victoria Street.
