Waddington ideas include venue open for 365 days a year
A Ribble Valley village pub business is behind a licensing application to develop a cafe and delicatessen nearby, with alcohol sales and opening hours for 365 days a year.
New licensing plans include selling food and hot and cold drinks, with suggested public opening times from 7am to 11pm, with alcohol sales between 10am and 10.30pm, seven days a week. Later hours for alcohol sales are proposed around Christmas and new year dates, to midnight or 1am . The letter says one person in the household has special needs and night-time noise would be detrimental to them.
"The application is for 365 days a year including an alcohol licence. Normally, the cafe would be closed earlier, not selling alcohol and not open 365 days a year. Join our LancsLive WhatsApp group LancsLive now has its very own WhatsApp community to deliver the latest news straight to your phone.
