Bee Network, which manages public transport in Greater Manchester, has issued reminders about the operating schedules for trams, buses, and trains in the region during Christmas. Engineering work, last-minute cancellations, and other issues are expected to disrupt some services throughout the festive and New Year season. Industrial action is also anticipated to cause disruptions, with train manager members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) at Avanti West Coast striking on December 22, 23, and 29. Buses On Monday, December 23, buses on Greater Manchester's Bee Network will generally operate as normal, although some routes may follow a modified weekday or Saturday timetable. Some Bee Network routes will continue running until approximately 9 pm. On Christmas Day, Stagecoach will operate special daytime buses on service 43. No other buses will run. On Boxing Day, special buses will operate on designated services, and no other buses will run. On Friday, December 27, a modified weekday service will operate on Stagecoach routes, and most other routes, including the X22, will have a Saturday service. Stagecoach services will commence from 4 am onwards, and late-night X43 journeys will not run. Normal or modified Saturday services will operate on Saturday, December 28
