"Pulang Araw" just released a teaser trailer introducing the full cast of characters of the upcoming family drama series.Barbie Forteza plays Adelina Dela Cruz, the younger sister of Eduardo Dela Cruz played by Alden Richards. She hates the Americans, so when World War II first breaks out, she sides with the Japanese.Eduardo hates his American father, who abused their mother. He is a caring older brother to Adelina and has feelings for Teresita.
The main antagonist of the series is Col. Yuta Saitoh played by Dennis Trillo. He is a Japanese imperial army officer whose mission is to conquer the Philippines. He will have feelings for Teresita.Other cast members include Rochelle Pangilinan as Amalia Dimalanta-Torres and Neil Ryan Sese as her husband Lauro Torres. She is taken by the Japanese and forced to serve as comfort woman, along with the nun Manuela Apolonio played by Ashley Ortega.
