Christian Pulisic will be out for “a couple of months” after suffering an undisclosed injury against Manchester City, Chelsea head coach Graham Potter confirmed. Pulisic is expected to be out until March. More from liam_twomey:
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League encounter against Fulham, Potter confirmed the injury status for many of his players and although some are close to a return, Pulisic is expected to be out until March.
Potter said: “Pierre is fine, so will be in the squad. Christian is a couple of months, we think, hopefully a little less. “Ruben and Ben Chilwell getting closer, Reece was out on the grass on his own. N’Golo is training on his own but a long way to go.” News of Pulisic’s injury will be a blow for the USMNT international, who has been linked with a move away from the club in the January transfer window.
The winger has featured 21 times this season for the west London club, but a lot of those appearances have largely come from the substitutes bench. He has scored once and assisted twice in the current campaign.
