Motorists will have to pay more for petroleum products starting Tuesday, as oil firms announced another round of hikes following the rollback implemented last week.
In an advisory, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. said it will hike prices per liter of gasoline by P0.95, diesel by P0.50, and kerosene by P0.15.The changes will take effect at 6 a.m.
on Tuesday, January 17, for all firms except for Cleanfuel which will adjust prices at 4:01 p.m. the same day.Latest data available from the Department of Energy show that prices in Metro Manila ranged from P56.00 per liter to P80.92 per liter for gasoline, and P57.10 per liter to P78.45 per liter for diesel as of January 12, 2023.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
