The Russian President has made a rare visit to the frontlines of Ukraine in a deliberate defiance of a recently issued warrant for his arrest.
The Kremlin leader was escorted by the Russian deputy prime minister Marat Khusnullin as he trudged through the streets of Mariupol, in Ukraine’s Donetsk region.
