The Queen was speaking to attendees of a garden party at Lamb House in Rye on Thursday afternoon and she confirmed King Charles is 'getting better' but added he's 'not behaving'.
Queen Camilla has humorously revealed King Charles's struggles to take a break during his cancer treatment. At a garden party at Lamb House in Rye on Thursday, she told guests that the King is "getting better." The Queen mentioned that Charles was particularly disappointed not to attend because of his admiration for EF Benson, a former resident of the house. During her visit, Camilla enjoyed performances by actors Timothy West and Hayley Mills.
Large crowds cheered Camilla and spirits weren't dampened despite the great British weather. As she made her way up a cobbled street into a nearby church, she said: "Sorry it's a bit damp". The Queen was then met by rector of the Church Paul White, who said: "When Queen Elizabeth I visited Rye in 1573, she dubbed this town ‘Royal Rye’. So if you felt that was in your gift today, we will alter the signs before you go." Camilla replied: "Why not?".

One her visit the royal met almost 94-year-old Inga Davie, who was sporting a long-service medal which marks her 45 years of dedication.
