Queen Camilla has given a brief update on the health of King Charles who underwent a successful heart procedure earlier this week, with the Queen saying he is 'fine'
Queen Camilla has said that King Charles is "doing fine" but is a bit of a rebel and "he won't slow down and won't do what he's told".
Queen Camilla was welcomed by the chairman of Historic Royal Palaces, Sir Nicholas Coleridge, among other dignitaries, including Vicky Perrin, who is the chief executive of the Queen's Reading Room, and famed authors like Harlan Coben. This isn't the first time Queen Camilla has given the public a sneak peek into the King's health journey; at the garden party hosted last month, she confided to guests that the King would start "getting better" provided he "behaved himself". Camilla couldn't help but express her annoyance over her husband's strenuous work schedule; a testament to this was the fact that he had squeezed in as many as five engagements into a single week, reports the Mirror.
Kate, who is courageously battling cancer, penned a heartfelt letter to the Irish Guards, expressing her regret at missing the event. Shared on their social media, she wrote: "I wanted to write to let you know how proud I am of the entire regiment ahead of the Colonel's Review and Trooping the Colour."
