At a Sussex garden party, the royal told attendees that her husband is getting better, with one caveat.
When the king first announced his cancer diagnosis in early February, the palace said that he planned to take time off from public duties while he underwent outpatient treatment. But he still conducted a busy schedule of meetings and even appeared in a video for the palace. Sources close to the king told Vanity Fair that he was feeling frustrated that his treatments were keeping him out of public life.
During a question and answer session, the queen responded to a question about the literary setting she most wanted to attend by showing off a deep knowledge of Harry Potter. “I would want to go to Hogwarts,” she said. “I would like to go to Hogwarts, sit in that wonderful hall, and wait for the hat to come round and pick a house. I think I might look at Dumbledore, Hagrid, and Snape and see all the pictures going mad—people jumping out of the pictures—and seeing the food flying about.
