Queen guitarist Brian May, 77, has revealed he's suffered a stroke and was rushed by ambulance to hospital. It left him unable to properly use his left arm. The musician made the announcement on his personal website and Instagram page this morning .
The 77-year-old musical legend, who was Knighted last year - becoming Sir Brian May, said he had "the most fantastic care and attention" from Frimley Park Hospital, where he was taken to via ambulance with "blue lights flashing, the lot, very exciting"."Please don't do that," he continued. "Because it will clutter up my inbox and I hate that. So, good news is I'm okay. Just doing what I'm told, which is basically nothing. I'm grounded.
In January 2007 his guitar solos on Bohemian Rhapsody and Brighten Rock were voted into the list of the top "50 Greatest Guitar Solos of all time" by readers of Guitar World magazine.
